Join our After School Club!

Learn about types of fabric, cutting techniques, pinning, machine basics, seam allowances, ironing, and tips for finishing projects for a polished look. Learn basic sewing vocabulary as you prepare to advance to working with sewing patterns and even designing your own clothes. Some weeks you will learn hand sewing and needlework techniques like cross stitch, embroidery, weaving and needle felting. We may also try upcycling, fabric dying, block printing, and who knows what else!

Details:

• When: Thursdays 3:30-5
• What to bring: Just yourself! Our classes include everything you need including fabric, use of tools and sewing machine.
• Who: Anyone age 12 and older please. Class size is limited to six participants so you get personalized instruction.
• Instructors: Celia + Nan + Debbie
• Cost: Varies depending on the project as it will include all materials, supplies, instruction and a light snack.
