Liberty of London
Tiny Poppytot Liberty fabric was inspired by illustrations in children‰۪s annuals from the 1930s. The design incorporates bluebells, which have links to the Greek moon goddess Selene. The snowdrops and honeysuckle within the design symbolise friendship, consolation, hope and devoted love.

To create the prints within the Florals with Symbolic Meanings story, the Liberty Art Fabrics team looked back to Victorian times, when intimacy was frowned upon and the language of flowers developed. A simple bloom can represent friendship, love, peace and tranquillity, yet in another context can evoke beauty and chaos.
